How to play on the ¥FOXES¥ EOD Server 2.51?
Eve of Destruction is a full conversion mod for Battlefield 1942, combining elements from Battlefield Vietnam and other mods, plus a busload of unique assets, vehicles, skins and weapons. In total it's a whole different experience from any other mod you've played before. You can battle MiGs and Phantoms above the jungle, go on patrol with the brown-water navy on counter-insurgency missions in the Mekong Delta or bomb the hell out of Charlie with the B-52 Superfortress or the SR-71 Blackbird.
First make sure you are running Battlefield 1942 version 1.61. You can check your version in the bottom of the main menu of the game, right under the DICE logo. If you're playing the Origin Battlefield 1942 version you're already on version 1.612 so you're fine. If you're on the retail version of Battlefield 1942 and you're on version 1.6 then consider downloading the client patch from here (https://www.bf-games.net/downloads/315/battlefield-1942-client-patch-161-win32-notwendig.html). Also, if you're starting Battlefield for the first time or you are on a fresh installation of the game, then don't forget to download and install the Gamespy patch. Since 2014 the Gamespy master server is out of business and all current servers run on a community made master server. The current version of Eve of Destruction is version 2.51, which means you'll have to download and install a total of 4 files in order to play.
