¥FOXES¥ CLAN RULES AND DEFINITIONS
1. NO KILLING AIRCRAFT AT TAKE OFF

During any type of map, be it CTF (Capture the Flag or CQ (Conquest, regular push mode) NO player is allowed to attack or destroy opponents during takeoff. This also applies to scenarios in which the enemy has captured the flag and enters a plane, the player MUST let the opponent take off before attempting to retrieve his team's flag. Taking off applies to any scenario in which a plane tries to become airborne, be it on an airfield or a hill. Even if the opponent becomes airborne, players MUST give the opponent a little time to fly and be able to engage in combat. If not, it will still be counted towards killing at takeoff.
Exception to the rule is when the opponent enters a plane but decides to engage in combat using the secondary position(s) (gunner's seat), for example on planes such as the Stuka, SBD, B-17 bomber. Using those guns means the player is actively participating in combat, thus the rule doesn't count towards this.
This rule is created to give all players a fair and equal chance to partake in aerial combat and not make it lopsided.

2. CAMPING

CQ – During conquest players are prohibited from entering the opponent's main base (uncapturable flag) just to loiter or make easy kills on unsuspecting players. Players are allowed to enter an enemy base for a short amount of time to, for example take catch a ride or steal a plane. Entering the opponent's main base with combat-capable vehicles (with exceptions of airplanes) will be counted as camping and you will be warned.
CTF – During Capture the Flag players are allowed to enter the opponent's main for the purpose of capturing the flag. Players are allowed to enter the base with any vehicle but are expected to take the flag and get out. If a player enters the opponent's main base, he must ONLY do so to steal the flag and leave. If a player decides otherwise and goes on a killing-spree rather than taking the flag, it will be counted as camping and you will be warned.
**If a player experiences an opponent camping his base and no admin or manager is around, best thing he can do is kill the camper or pick a different spawn point.

3. TARGETING

Targeting is the act of constantly going after the same opponent and killing him, but only him and not any other player. If both parties did not agree on a one-on-one battle, it will be viewed as disruptive gameplay. Targeting newer players by more experienced players can and will scare of players and is bad for the server and is unfair towards those with less experience. If not challenged for a one-on-one battle, it will be seen as disruptive gameplay.

4. GLITCHING

Glitching is the act of exploiting faults in a video game's programming or bugs in maps to your advantage. A player using glitched positions is abusing game errors to have an unfair advantage over other players, as he cannot be seen or killed by opponents in most cases, while the player is capable of killing. Glitching for the purpose of gaining an unfair advantage will be punished with a kick or ban.
Showing a fun trick to other players by using for example exploits is not necessarily prohibited, but admins and managers will keep an eye on such players, nonetheless.

5. SNIPING

Any player is allowed to use rifles (be it an engineer kit or sniper kit) to kill opponents, but must not kill opponents that have just spawned and may also not enter the opponent's main base for sniping (that will be counted as camping). Snipers must hide outside the opponent's base.

6. TEAM KILLING

Any player that intentionally kills a player on his own team with any weapon will be seen as disruptive gameplay. The server has team killing by bullet disabled by default; however, it is still possible to kill team members with explosions (bombs, expacks, grenades, tank shells). Accidents can happen, but purposely teamkilling will lead to a kick or ban.
Exempt to this rule are bots, teamkilling bots will not count towards disruptive gameplay unless the player does it to for the purpose of weakening his own team.

7. BASE RAPE

Any player that constantly attacks/bombs a base with either an airplane (fighter/bomber) or artillery (SPG or rocket artillery) or any other combat capable vehicle with explosive projectiles for that matter to get easy and "cheap" kills and doesn't give his opponents a chance to get back into the game and fight back is BASE RAPING. Base raping is not allowed, as all players must give their opponent a fair chance to play the game. For example, using the B-17 bomber continuously to bomb the enemy airfield on El Alamein will be seen as base raping.

8. SPAWN KILLING

Any player that constantly and continuously kills opponents as soon as they spawn on the battlefield is a spawn killer. This counts for any weapon/vehicle at any spawn point. A spawn kill can happen by accident, but when a player keeps killing players during spawning it will be seen as intentionally spawn killing and counted as disruptive gameplay. Staying at an opponent's spawn point without trying to take that flag, purposely killing enemies that reside there is also counted towards spawn killing. ALL players MUST give opponents a fair and equal chance to play the game. Lack of fair gameplay is no fun!! Failure to comply with the request of an admin or manager regarding spawn killing will lead to a kick or ban.

9. SPAMMING

Any player or spectator who resides on the server and is seen flooding the game with various ways of communication will be kicked by admins or managers for disruptive gameplay. Examples of spamming are:

I. Continuously using RADIO commands, such as
"requesting a pickup"
"requesting a pickup"
"requesting a pickup"
"requesting a pickup"
"requesting a pickup"
"requesting a pickup"

II. Incomprehensive writing or smashing the keyboard. Different languages will not be counted as incomprehensive writing. "Afiojhdgksdfgkdfjg" will be.

III. Flooding the chat with a chain of single words, such as:
"I"
" I would"
" I would like"
" Yes "
" I know"
" How "
" Yes "
" I "
" Join "
" FOXES "
" Clan."

Discussion regarding the definition of chat spamming is disallowed on the battlefield server, there are many ways to flood the game with unnecessary communication and it is up to the admin or manager to decide and request a player to stop spamming. Any ambiguity regarding this rule can be discussed on our Discord server and we are glad to help out regarding that matter. Failure to comply with an admin's request regarding spamming and argue about spamming definitions will lead to a kick.

10. PLAYER NAME
All players present on the server MUST carry a valid name. Names that reflect racial sensitive subjects, carry sexual or illicit content, or refer to high ranking NAZI officials, or are purposely hard to read are disallowed and will be asked to change their name. Failure to do so will lead to a kick. Copying the name of a ¥FOXES¥ member or ¥FOXES¥ official and impersonating him or her on the server or any server for that matter will lead to a ban.

Examples of illegal names are:
IIIlllIII – hard to read
OOoo00oooo000 – hard to read
Adolf Hitler – Nazi nickname
Child raper - sexual or illicit content
Hairy Cunt Eater - sexual or illicit content
Ni***er – racial sensitive, also using asterisks to "dodge" breaking the rules will be counted towards breaking of the rules of the content that is censored is too obvious.

11. BEHAVIOR AND LANGUAGE

All players that partake on the server are expected to behave accordingly and try to keep their language clean. No player, of any age, is allowed to make racist remarks or glorify genocide or murder for that matter. Please also refrain from political or NAZI discussions. Saying 'FUCK' or 'SHIT' isn't regarded as inappropriate behavior as long as the player is capable of showing his or her vocabulary isn't limited to swear words. An admin can request a player to change his language or watch his words, if the language or words by the player are deemed distasteful or unmannered. Failure to comply with an admin request will lead to a kick. Racial sensitive comments will lead to a kick or ban without warning.
Examples will not be shown for obvious reasons, go figure!

12. RECRUITING
No player is allowed to recruit for his own clan or server or invite players from ¥FOXES¥ over to another server, unless an admin decides otherwise. The act of recruiting is an insult towards the work ¥FOXES¥ members and ¥FOXES¥ Officials put in the server and community and any player that partakes in such an endeavor will be banned for a period to be decided by the ¥FOXES¥ leader.

13. BAIL AND SUICIDE
BAIL- when a player leaves a plane to avoid being killed. Bailing is discouraged and frowned upon but is NOT against the rules. We see bailing from a plane and discrediting your opponent a deserved kill as an act of weakness but will not punish players for such actions.
BAIL AND SUICIDE – however when a player leaves a plane and then proceeds to suicide himself in the act of denying his opponent a kill will be punished. This act is seen as distasteful and disruptive by the community. This counts towards bailing without parachute (killed by ground collision), killed by out of bounds and bailing over desolate places on the map (and then suiciding because of the hike). Players that do so will be warned and kicked accordingly.

14. CLAN TAGS

Any player that is a not member of the ¥FOXES¥ clan is not allowed to use the ¥FOXES¥ clan tag in his name on this server or any other server for that server. Not authorized to wear the tags? Don't do it! Refraining from removing said tags will lead to a ban rather than a kick. The duration of that ban is upon the admin to decide. If admins find out players use the ¥FOXES¥ clan tags on different servers, or even attempts of impersonating an official ¥FOXES¥ member will lead to a ban as well.

Exempt to this rule are former ¥FOXES¥ members, but they must let admins, or the server owner know that they are a former member on Discord so that their former role can be reinstated.

These are the definitions of the rules on the ¥FOXES¥ server that are monitored by admins and managers during all times. All players must follow these rules. Rules are subject to change and will change accordingly whenever admins deem it necessary.

Side Note;

We also recommend staying clear of any political talk. Although we're all adults and will always be treat as such, we feel it'd make for a better gaming enviroment if we stayed well away from any hot button topics such as the aforementioned politics, identity and sexual orientation. We're an all inclusive clan and will respect anyone and everyone that joins our ranks. We'll also treat everyone as an adult but reserve the right to treat anyone like a child if they're acting like one.
